The Public Prosecutor's Office of the State of Rio de Janeiro issued a note stating that the biotype of the person who shot the alderwoman and the driver was identified
Just three days before the seventh month since the murder of alderwoman Marielle Franco and the driver Anderson Gomes, the Rio de Janeiro State Attorney's Office (MPRJ) released a note stating that the biotype of the person who shot the two was identified. Investigators also identified new locations where the car used during the crime circulated.
The course of investigation was reported to Marielle's family and Anderson's widow last Tuesday (11), the MP said.
According to the MPRJ, high-tech software was used to recognize the biometric profile of the shooter. The identification of the places where the car passed by was possible through the analysis of hundreds of images. For the Public Ministry, the mapping represents "a great advance" for the follow-up of the investigations.
