Ruy Ferraz Fontes was responsible for the detention of several PCC leaders in 2001 and 2002 while serving at the DEIC.
Documents obtained by Radio Bandeirantes show that there was an order from the PCC (First Command of the Capital) to kill the then deputy general of São Paulo Police, Ruy Ferraz Fontes. Now serving as head of Civil Police, Fontes was responsible for arresting several PCC leaders between 2001 and 2002, when he was deputy director of the State Department for Criminal Investigation (DEIC).
According to the police inquiry that Radio Bandeirantes has now brought to light, PCC leaders decided to kill Ruy Ferraz Fontes and two other investigators because they were disrupting the organization's operations.
