Moroccan sentenced to 12 years in prison for terrorism

Abdesselam Tazi, 65, was pre-trial detention since March of 2017

The Moroccan citizen accused of recruiting operational in Portugal for the radical Islamic state (IS) was sentenced to 12 years in prison.

Abdesselam Tazi, 65, was responsible for eight crimes: association with an international terrorist organization, counterfeiting for terrorism purposes, recruitment for terrorism, financing of terrorism and four crimes of using a false document for purpose of financing terrorism.
