Gangs pay or threaten teenagers, create 'army' for attacks in Ceará.

As of Friday morning (Jan 11), 110 of the 309 individuals identified in the attacks were minors.

Through threats or payments of up to R$1,000, teenagers from Greater Fortaleza are being recruited by criminal gangs to carry out the attacks that have been taking place in Ceará for the past 11 days.

According to the Public Security and Social Defense Secretariat (SSPDS), 110 of the 309 individuals who have been identified in the attacks until Friday morning (Jan 11) were minors. But many families report excesses in the arrests.
