During 12 minutes, those in Lisbon will get to know the legend of the goddess A-Ma, a Chinese deity who protects fishermen and sailors, hear about the arrival of the Portuguese sailors, and get to know the cosmopolitan Macau that exists today.
Hundreds of people gathered early in the evening at Terreiro do Paço in Lisbon to watch the first videomapping show dedicated to the history of Macau.
Until March 16, those who spend the night in the emblematic Lisbon square can be dazzled by a 12-minute tour sponsored by Turismo de Macau. In the images, projected in 3D, you can see the architectural and cultural richness of Macau, the latest developments of the city and also remember the 400 years of Portuguese presence in the region. There will always be three sessions available for the video projection to the public: at 8:00 p.m., 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.
The show will tell the story of the Asian city and the legend of the goddess A-Bad, the Chinese deity that protects fishermen and sailors. The multimedia journey will cover centuries of history, from the arrival of the Portuguese sailors in the 16th century to the present.
