Bruno de Carvalho has launched a mobile app to promote community safety and prevent burglary. Security on demand is the next step.

Bruno de Carvalho created a platform to fight insecurity in South Africa. This Portuguese entrepreneur developed an app called GruupUp to promote community safety and prevent burglary. There is a free version of this mobile app, which can be used to notify your friends and family, but a premium version - with which you will be able to call private security from a distance - will also be launched soon.

GruupUp is a six-people team - three founders and three software developers. They are all based in Lisbon, but they want to launch this service in countries such as South Africa and Angola.
