French court negotiates immunity of Rui Pinto

The French court is negotiating with Portugal the possibility of granting immunity to Rui Pinto in order to help them investigate corruption in football, according to The Guardian newspaper.

In a report on the Football Leaks case concerning the extradition of the young man from Hungary to Portugal, the newspaper says that the investigation of the alleged corruption in the votes of the World Football Championships of 2018 and 2022 is more serious than the crime against Doyen of which Rui Pinto is accused in Portugal.

Recall that Rui Pinto began to be investigated in Portugal in 2015 on suspicion of having stolen the secrets of Doyen Investment Sports, an investment fund in football, as well as of player contracts.
