One of Pope Francis' top Amazon advisors at the Synod, which is being held since Sunday (Oct 6) in Rome, Xingu's Bishop Emeritus Erwin Kräutler, 80, says that the decisions made during the meeting will affect the whole Catholic Church. In this interview, Erwin Kräutler called for greater participation of women in the church, argued that Jair Bolsonaro's proposals regarding indigenous peoples are unconstitutional, and said that the internationalization of the Amazon Forest is nothing but 'a ghost'.
