At least 12 states and the Federal District held demonstrations on Sunday (25).
At least 12 states and the Federal District have been the scene of demonstrations on Sunday (25) against a bill, which has been approved by the Congress and is awaiting approval by President Jair Bolsonaro (PSL). Acts were reported in all regions of the country. In the Southeast, they occurred in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais and Espírito Santo. In the South, there was a demonstration in Curitiba (PR), while in the Center-west the acts were performed in Goiás and the Federal District.
In the Northeast, Bahia, Maranhão, Pernambuco, Rio Grande do Norte and Alagoas have seen demonstrations, while in the north of the country, Belém (PA) hosted the protests. The demonstrations were called by groups such as "Vem pra Rua", which asks the president to veto the project on abuse of authority, but not only.
The demonstrations also call for the appointment of prosecutor Deltan Dallagnol, coordinator of the Lava Jato task force in Curitiba, to the PGR (Attorney General's Office), the impeachment of Minister DiasToffoli, president of the Federal Supreme Court, the maintenance in prison of the former President Luiz I nacio Lula da Silva and declared support for Minister Sergio Moro (Justice) and the Bolsonaro government.
