It was hit by a fire on Monday, it is carrying 3,500 Nissan cars, and it is adrift in the Pacific with no crew on board. The Sincerity Ace is a Panama-flagged car carrier drifting in the Pacific Ocean after being hit by a fire as it was sailing from Japan to Hawaii.
The US Coast Guard suspended the search for the only missing crew member on Friday. Only 16 of the 21 crew members were successfully rescued. Four of the remaining seafarers have been located but were unresponsive to life-saving equipment.
