"He is healthy and fed", but is still hospitalized at Alfredo da Costa Maternity (MAC) the male baby, who was found, on Tuesday in a dustbin in Avenida Infante D. Henrique, in Lisbon.
The newborn's health status update was released Thursday by Daniel Virella, head of the neonatal intensive care unit at Dona Estefânia Hospital in Lisbon. "It has antibiotic protection, which will last for more a day or two until we are sure he is not infected. Apart from all he is fine", said the doctor.
