The messages exchanged by employees show the company's neglect when making the model

The company regretted the embarrassing communications it sent to investigators on Thursday (9), including the comment that "this plane was designed by clowns, who are in turn supervised by monkeys."

Boeing officials mocked about the federal regulations, talked about deceiving regulators, and joked about possible 737 MAX failures as it was being developed, according to more than 100 pages of internal messages delivered to Congress investigators on Thursday (8).
