Hyoid bones, which support dinos' tongue were small and simple, like crocodiles'
A new study can change the image of dinosaurs: they could not get their tongue out, like lizards do. It was attached to the base of the mouth, similar to what happens with alligators. The discovery was made by researchers from the University of Texas in Austin and the Chinese Academy of Sciences and published on Wednesday (20) in the journal Plos One .
