Chinese President Xi Jinping will be in Portugal on December 4 and 5, and during the visit he will announce a "strengthening of Chinese investment in Portugal." The guarantee is given by João Marques da Cruz, president of the Luso-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, who will organize a conference on "Portugal-China Relations: Knowing the Past, Preparing the Future" in Lisbon tomorrow. The event is part of the V Portugal-China Gala, which will be attended by the Prime Minister, António Costa.
In addition to the sectors in which China already invests in Portugal - such as energy, insurance, health and real estate - there are new opportunities in other sectors such as ports or infrastructure, among others, he guarantees.
