Venezuelan court orders Leopoldo López to be arrested

The opposition politician to the government of Nicolás Maduro is in the embassy of Spain in Caracas, after having been released of the house arrest by military and police affections to Juan Guaidó

Venezuelan justice ordered this Thursday to arrest Leopoldo López, one of the main opponents of the regime of Nicolás Maduro, for violating the conditions of the house arrest to which he was subject.

Leopoldo López, serving a 14-year sentence, had been released from house arrest early Tuesday by a group of military and government secrets service employees who had joined the movement of Juan Guaidó, a self-proclaimed president of Venezuela.
