The Kherson mayor's political adviser, in southern Ukraine, was attacked on July 31 at her doorstep.
A person poured a bottle of sulfuric acid over her. As a result, 30% of her body was burned. After two days in intensive care in that city of 300 thousand inhabitants, she was eventually transferred to the capital, Kiev. In total, she underwent 11 surgical operations.
