After the Russian attack on three Ukrainian vessels, the Ukrainian parliament put in force a martial law. President ensures that the country will defend itself against any Russian attack.
On Monday, Ukraine's parliament approved the imposition of a martial law for 30 days in the country's frontiers in the following of strong tensions with Russia, which had seized on Sunday, three Ukrainian military ships on the Black Sea.
An 'ad hoc' bill was approved by 276 MPs, when the required minimum was 226, at an untimely session which was attended by President Petro Poroshenko and his Prime Minister Volodymyr Groïsman.
