"As long as I'm president of the United States, Iran will never be allowed to have a nuclear weapon," said Donald Trump, who claimed there were no US casualties in yesterday's Iranian attack on Iraqi bases.
Trump accuses Iran of being the leading sponsor of terrorism. "Nation's have tolerated Iran's behavior, but those days are over," he said from the White House.
But the US president also stated that Iran seems to be backing out after the attack. "Iran appears to be standing down, which is a good thing for all parties concerned and a very good thing for the world," he said.
Trump further said that General Qassem Soleimani, recently killed by a US drone strike, was responsible for the "worst atrocities" and should have been killed long ago. "Last week we eliminated the world's top terrorist," he stated, adding that Soleimani was planning further attacks on US targets.
