Resolution does not open possibility of military intervention in the country

Brazilian Foreign Minister Ernesto Araújo attended this Monday (23) a meeting that authorized the activation of the Tiar (Inter-American Treaty of Reciprocal Assistance) to face the crisis in Venezuela.

The decision does not open the possibility of a military intervention on the regime of Nicolás Maduro, as supporters of the opposition leader Juan Guaidó expected.
