The President of the East Timorese Parliament demanded a "written justification" from the Head of State for refusing to accept the names proposed for the new Government.

East Timor President Francisco Lu-Olo continues to refuse to induct the 9 names proposed by the Alliance of Change for Progress (AMP), a coalition led by the Timorese government. Arão Noé de Jesus, leader of the East Timorese parliament, told reporters that Lu-Olo should present a "written justification" for refusing to accept the names proposed by Prime Minister Taur Matan Ruak, the so-called "group of the 9" so it could close the cast of the new government of the country, reported the e-Global website.

The "group of the 9" is composed by Francisco Kalbuadi Leigos, Hélder Lopes, Tomás do Rosário Cabral, Virgílio Smith, Jacinto Rigoberto Gomes de Deus, Ságio Gama Lobo, Amândio de Sá Benevides, José Manuel Turquel and António Verdial de Sousa.
