On Wednesday, Minister Sergio Moro tells the Senate Constitution and Justice Committee about the leak of his talks with Attorney Deltan Dallagnol, head of the Lava Jato task force.
Reports from The Intercept Brazil website revealed messages in which the two exchanged information about the actions of the operation and suggest that Moro may have interfered with the prosecution's performance. At the time of the dialogues, he was judge of the 13th Federal Court of Curitiba, responsible for the processes connected to Lava Jato.
In his opening address, Moro claimed to be the target of a hacker attack targeting the Lava Jet and the institutions."What I can assure you is that, in conducting the judge works in the context of Operation Lava Jet, I have always acted in accordance with the law," he said.
