The former Bolivian president, exiled in Mexico, denounced crimes against humanity perpetrated during the country's "police and military repression".
The country has been plunged into a serious crisis for almost a month. In a social network, Morales demanded that Jeanine Áñez's "de facto government" identifies the intellectual and material authors of the 24 deaths recorded over the last five days.
"I denounce before the international community these crimes against humanity which should not go unpunished," he said.
