Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro ordered his country's authorities to strengthen security at the US embassy in Caracas.
Tensions are deepening in Caracas. Nicolás Maduro ordered a reinforcement of the surveillance to the American embassy in the capital of Venezuela.
The order of the first Venezuelan representative took place hours after four activists were detained which for more than a month, were holding a protest inside the Venezuelan embassy in Washington to point out that Nicolás Maduro is the only constitutional president of the Venezuelan government of the country.
