Adélio Bispo de Oliveira, arrested since September 6 2018 for stabbing the then candidate for the Presidency of Brazil, is not considered responsible for his acts
The judge of the 3rd Federal Court of Juiz de Fora Bruno Saviano, ruled that Adélio Bispo de Oliveira, accused of stabbing President Jair Bolsonaro (PSL) during the election campaign of 2018, is unaccountable, the newspaper Estado de S. Paulo reported today.
The judge's decision was in response to a defense request pleading the mental insanity of Adélio Bispo de Oliveira. The judgment of the judge of the 3rd Federal Court determines that the accused can not be held criminally responsible for crimes. In the same order, the judge keeps Adélio in a federal prison until the trial of the criminal process for attacking the current President Jair Bolsonaro.
