Former President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva will be transferred from Curitiba to Sao Paulo
The decision was signed by the substitute judge Carolina Lebbos, from the 12th Federal Court of Curitiba, on the morning of Wednesday (7). The measure was published in the federal justice system of Paraná around 8:46 am (local time). The transfer request was made by the Regional Superintendence of the Federal Police in Paraná, which alleges that the arrest of the former president at the location has caused a change of the building's routine and generated damage to the public interest. The decision states that "although the Brazilian legal system provides for the possibility of detention in a special prison or the General Staff Room, these are restricted to procedural prison.
