President of Cape Verde asks Portugal to end visas

Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa and António Costa are in Cape Verde to celebrate the Portugal Day.

On Monday, the President of the Republic of Cape Verde asked Portugal to abolish visas for Cape Verdeans and asked for support to the community living in Sao Tome and Principe, which is living a "very difficult" situation.

During the official speech on the celebrations of the Portugal, Camões and the Communities Day, taking place at the Portuguese School of Cape Verde (EPCV), in the city of Praia, Jorge Carlos Fonseca underlined the excellence of the relations between the two countries.
