"I cooked hamburgers in the US," says Eduardo Bolsonaro

Federal MP Eduardo Bolsonaro defended his nomination for the position of Brazilian ambassador to the United States, proposed by his father

"I am the president of the Foreign Affairs Committee [of the House of Representatives], I've been on a student exchange program, I cooked hamburgers in the United States," Eduardo Bolsonaro said. "I'm not just a [President's] son who is being suddenly raised to this condition. I've been around the world," he said.

"I improved my English in the cold of Colorado, on a mountain there. I saw how much Americans like Brazilians," the Brazilian president's son added. Eduardo Bolsonaro had a scheduled meeting today at the Itamaraty headquarters with Foreign Minister Ernesto Araújo.
