Fu Ziying is the new director of the Liaison Office in Macau

Today, the State Council has appointed Fu Ziying as the director of the Central Government Liaison Office in Macau, a role that had been vacant since Zheng Xiaosong's death in late October.

So far, and since 2017, Fu was China's international trade representative and vice minister of Commerce, a position he had held before between 2008 and 2011, the year he was Deputy Governor of Jiangsu Province, until 2017.

Born in 1957 in the Jianli County, Hubei Province, the new Director of the Liaison Office has a PhD in economics and holds a certificate of public accountant.
