Amapá's Senator, Randolfe Rodrigues (Rede-AP), said in an interview with BBC News Brazil that the government of Jair Bolsonaro (PSL) encourages invasions of indigenous lands for ore exploration, as happened in the case of the west of his state denounced by leaders of the wajãpi people, involving the death of a village chief, which is being investigated by the Federal Police and the National Indian Foundation (Funai).
