Cape Verde on the African public policies and institutions podium

Cape Verde is one of the three sub-Saharan countries with the best public policies and institutions, according to the list drawn up by the World Bank's International Development Association (IDA).

In the recently released 2017 ranking, Cape Verde takes the third place with 3.7 points (out of 6), behind Rwanda (first place, 4 points) and Senegal (second place, 3.8 points).

The study covers 38 countries and measures their progress in strengthening the quality of public policies and institutions.
