Augusto Tomás accused of criminal association

Augusto Tomás is detained at the Prison Hospital of São Paulo, since September.

The Attorney General's Office has just formalized the accusation against the former Transports Minister, Augusto da Silva Tomás, who has been detained since September accused of misappropriation.

According to the accusation that Jornal de Angola had access to, Augusto Tomás is accused of six crimes, in a case that involves the National Loaders Council (CNC), a body supervised by the Ministry of Transport. These crimes are: a form of embezzlement in a continuous form, one of violation of the norms of execution of the plan and budget in a continuous form, a crime of abuse of power in the continuous form, two crimes of economic participation in business, a crime of money laundering and another of criminal association.
