Deputy Eduardo (SP) and Senator Flávio (RJ) are removed from the party's regional presidencies.
In a defeat for the PSL wing linked to President Jair Bolsonaro, the General Secretariat of the House of Representatives Bureau said this Thursday (17) that Delegate Waldir (GO) remains as the party leader in the House. Bolsonaro's allies in the House tried to remove Waldir from the leadership of the party in the House and replace him by Deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro (SP), son of President Bolsonaro.
Before confirming Waldir's permanence, the General Secretariat checked the signatures of the three lists filed this Wednesday evening (16), two of them presented by the PSL's pro-Bolsonaro wing. According to deputies, the president acted personally to influence the process. The dispute opposes the allies of Bolsonaro and PSL's president, Luciano Bivar (PE).
In another chapter of the open war within the PSL, Bivar dismissed Eduardo and Senator Flavio Bolsonaro (PSL-RJ) - the president's eldest son - from the party leadership in Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, respectively. Another ally of Bolsonaro, delegate Bia Kicis (PSL-DF) was also removed from the presidency of the PSL on the Federal District.
