A leader was killed and there's a new one now. On the same day that the death of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi was announced, the Islamic State proclaimed a new leader of the terrorist group.
The new leader of the Islamic State terrorist group, Abdullah Qardash, is the confidant of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, who committed suicide when he was cornered by a US Special Forces mission in northwestern Syria on Saturday.
Amaq, the Islamic State propaganda magazine, has announced that Qardash has been nominated to rebuild the terrorist organization, and a wave of attacks is foreseeable wherever the group still has the strength to carry them out.
