Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro begins today an official visit to the People's Republic of China, during which several new bilateral cooperation agreements should be signed, the Brazilian press reports, citing a Foreign Ministry source.
According to the Brazilian Foreign Ministry, the agreements will focus on three key areas: increasing and diversifying Brazilian exports to China, attracting Chinese investment to Brazil, and boosting science and technology cooperation.
A business conference held by the Brazilian Exports and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex Brasil) should be the highlight of Jair Bolsonaro's visit to China. In addition to Bolsonaro, the conference will be attended by several Brazilian and Chinese ministers.
