Party leaders must get 500,000 signatures in time to run for the 2020 election

In a race to create a new party in time for the 2020 local elections, the Brazilian president's allies want to use the structure of pro-Bolsonaro movements and focus on conservative groups such as evangelicals.

'Alliance for Brazil' - Bolsonaro's new party - has less than five months to set up a structure and launch candidates in October next year.
