On his way to Japan, the President Jair Bolsonaro made a stopover in Lisbon this Sunday, 20, and took the opportunity to leave a message of support to the Portuguese Prime Minister, António Costa. Costa is part of the Socialist Party (PS) and won the election earlier this month with the maintenance of the left coalition.
Today, Bolsonaro signed a letter congratulating the prime minister for the reelection. The moment was recorded in photos. In one of them, the Brazilian president appears signing the text next to the Minister of the Institutional Security Office, Augusto Heleno, and the presidential special advisor, Filipe Martins. The document signed by Bolsonaro was handed to local diplomats. "This is a sign of friendship and deep relationship that the two countries have", said one adviser, who is accompanying the trip.
