The candidates tried to persuade the electorate that did not vote for them during the first program of the second round
In their first second-round election program, that was broadcast on television, on Friday, the two presidential candidates tried to reduce the reasons that might lead voters to reject them. Jair Bolsonaro (PSL), who is seeking the female electorate, cried when he spoke of his youngest daughter, Laura, his first one after fathering four boys. The candidate reused a video he had already posted on the internet about how he decided he would try paternity again: he says he decided to undo a vasectomy.
"It has changed my life a lot Laura's arrival," he said before appearing on the video playing and asking for his daughter's kiss. Meanwhile, Fernando Haddad (PT) bet on winning the support of the anti-Worker's Party electorate. Speaking towards the camera, he said that his "campaign is not for a party, it's for everyone who wants to change the country." He asked for the vote of "all who are in favor of democracy."
