The opening of the "Year of the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP) for Youth" kicked off on Wednesday,January 30 in Lisbon, Portugal.
The "Year of the CPLP for Youth" aims to strengthen the effective participation of young people of the community in the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of CPLP development policies, particularly in the context of the successful implementation of SDGs.
The Minister of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Angola, Ana Paula da Silva do Sacramento Neto took part in the opening.
This year the relevance of this theme will be highlighted for the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries (CPLP), the alignment of the theme with the CPLP cooperation agenda, with the United Nations Agenda 2030 for Sustainable Development and Development Goals (SDGs).
The plan of activities for the year 2019 which as reference the Strategic Vision of the CPLP 2016-2026 and the Youth Action Plan 2018-2022 was also presented.
