The Angolan government is negotiating a credit line with the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC), in the amount of $ 11.7 billion
The credit line with the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC), in the amount of US $ 11.7 billion is intended to finance infrastructure projects, announced news site CLBrief (News on China and Lusophony), on the official website of the China-Africa Cooperation Forum (FOFAC), which runs from 3 to 4 September.
According to the site CLBrief, The Angolan Government is still negotiating the terms for a first loan of $ 1,281.9 million, to pay up to 85 percent of the contract value for the design, construction and finishing of the new international airport being erected in Luanda.
The airport is being built 30 kilometers away from the city of Luanda by several Chinese companies, the main contractor being CIF (China International Fund)
