Startups from Brazil and Portugal are looking for investors in Macau

Seventeen companies from Brazil and Portugal are in Macau participating in the Macau International Startup Week, from 5-7 September, looking for Chinese investors and partners, said some of their officials to the Lusa news agency.

After attending the event, the representatives of the 17 Portuguese-speaking companies have scheduled a tour around three of the cities that integrate the Greater Bay Area, a world metropolis that China is creating in a region with over 70 million inhabitants, which encompasses also Macau and Hong Kong.

The general manager of the Brazilian incubator and accelerator Startup Rio told the agency that "the main target is the Greater Bay Area market, and we intend to contact potential investors."
