A part of it is in Odemira and another in Aljezur, and it brings together the best of the two coasts - the Algarve and the Alentejo. Between the mountains and the sea, Odeceixe has the best of the Southwest: fresh produce at the table, a welcoming people and fresh air for the lungs.
Straw hats that serve as lamps, tree trunks from oak trees that are reused as benches and fruit bowls made of cork. The blue of the long pool merges with the green around it. We are at an orchard with more than 500 trees, among them lemon trees, loquat trees, pear trees, quince trees and many others. As soon as we arrive at the Craveiral Farmhouse, we notice that the newly opened São Teotónio rural tourism house has the best of what Costa Vicentina and Southwest Alentejo have to offer. It is located around 15 kilometers from Odeceixe, to the south, and as many from Odemira, to the north, and presents itself as an opportunity for a pause in the city routine and for days lived peacefully.
