Cave where 12 boys were detained opens as a tourist attraction

Starting this Friday, groups of 25 or 30 people at a time can access the interior of the main cave, with a maximum of 2,000 people per day.

The Tham Luang Cave in northern Thailand, where 12 boys and their soccer coach were held for more than two weeks last year, has officially reopened today as a tourist attraction.

The grounds were "adequately prepared for tourism," Chongklai Voraphongston, Deputy Director General of Thailand's Department of Natural Parks, said in a statement.
