With edible lipstick, beauty industry targets small children in South Korea

The use of cosmetics by preschool girls grows in the Asian country.

Yang Hye-Ji structured her morning routine last year when she was in kindergarten. Uniform? Dress. Homework? Done. Makeup? Of course.

"Make-up makes me cute," explained the seven-year-old girl on the second time she went to the ShuShu & Sassy beauty salon in Seoul. She was wrapped in a child sized pink robe, her hair bound by a bunny band. Her face was being retouched lightly with a sponge. On her lips, a pink glow.
