France is going to ban electric scooters from circulating on sidewalks

The French government has announced that it will ban the circulation of electric scooters on the sidewalks of cities starting September. The fine will be of 135 euros.

In an interview with the French newspaper Le Parisien, the French transport minister, Elisabeth Borne, argues that the evolution of the circulation of scooters, which have invaded the streets of French cities in recent months, "was very fast and anarchic."
