Burglars are using electric scooters to tackle pedestrians

Gang with 10 criminals, including minors, steals cell phones and bags from walkers

Thieves are using electric scooters to steal pedestrians on Avenida Faria Lima, in the West Zone of São Paulo. Residents and workers in the area have complained to the police about the increase of these crimes in the past 3 months.

A gang of 10 criminals, including minors, stole cell phones and bags from people who were walking on the sidewalk last week.

Attorney Tania Brunhera saw an attempted theft in front of her workplace, near the Faria Lima subway station. She told the journalist that the thieves are already known.
