Eating small amounts of red meat can cause premature death

Are your meals often rich in red or processed meats? This new study will make you rethink your diet.

An investigation by Loma Linda University in the USA, found that eating small amounts of such meat increases the risk of premature death from any cause.

"We wanted to analyze the relation between the consumption of small amounts of processed and red meat as being, in part, the cause of cardiovascular disease and mortality due to the incidence of cancer, compared to those who don't consume it at all", explained Saeed Mastour Alshahrani, leader of the study, to the Mirror.
