"Sabor de Timor" is the most recent book written by Luís Simões, a young Portuguese chef in Timor-Leste for almost five years, dedicated to recovering the original gastronomy of the country with a contemporary approach. The book hits newsstands next week.
It is very affectionate the connection that Portugal establishes with Timor-Leste, the youngest country of Southeast Asia. The Portuguese chef Luís Simões, aged 28 and living in the country for about five years, now honors (and strengthens) his latest book, "Sabor de Timor", in which he compiles more than 60 recipes based on original local gastronomy.
