The jewelry industry has been going through a creative renaissance since 2010. On the one hand, designers and brands follow fashion trends with affordable jewelry and automated production. On the other hand, the 'high jewelry' industry has been combining stones with valuable pieces of art in order to attract a wealthy clientele.
The idea of a distant world has been left behind and the jewelry universe is entertaining the possibility of leaving its pedestal. It was in this context that Brazil proved to be a seedbed of new designers and small brands with a global appeal.
