Melissa McCarthy managed to sneak in 30 sandwiches to the Golden Globes ceremony, which took place this Sunday, January 6th, in Beverly Hills, California.
The 48-year-old actress - who was nominated for Best Actress in a Drama Movie for her role in Can You Ever Forgive Me? - "smuggled" dozens of ham and cheese sandwiches from the market and restaurant Joan's on Third to the Beverly Hilton hotel, so no one around her would starve during the ceremony.
Known for her comic roles, Melissa MacCarthy, who was accompanied at the ceremony by her husband, director Ben Falcone, told Variety magazine "I'm giving [food] to everyone. Next year, I'm bringing hot dogs"
To avoid the sound of cutlery on television, the ceremony dinner is served before the broadcast of the event, which means that many stars that are parading on the red carpet will miss the meal. In the gallery above, you can see pictures of the red carpet of the 76th. Edition of the Golden Globes.
