The exhibition by Portugal's representative at the 2019 Venice Biennale will pre-open today at Palazzo Giustinian Lolin in Venice, Italy
The exhibition will compete with projects from over 90 countries. Speaking to Lusa on Friday, Portuguese artist Leonor Antunes defined the exhibition as "a second skin" created in that historic palace, where a dialogue between the city and her work was born.
While finalizing the show that will be opened today, the artist said she was "very happy" with the assembly of her work, which will compete for the Golden Lion at the Venice Biennial - one of the most important contemporary art exhibitions in the world, to be opened to the public this Saturday.
